In the far future, the bitchy and effete 1 Percent rule the world from inaccessible luxury and dispatch hairy brutes in red diapers to kill everyone else, until one brute (Sean Connery) rises up and rocks their sexless, deathless, joyless world. But mere synopsis doesn’t do John Boorman’s drug- addled vision justice.
