The underrated Mary Harron peers through the eyes of Valerie Solanas (Lily Taylor), an aggro lesbian writer who pursues Warhol (Jared Harris) as a benefactor before making him a target. Taylor delivers chunks of Solanas’s anti-man manifesto to camera to surprising effect, but not as surprising as Stephen Dorff’s career-peak turn as Warhol superstar Candy Darling!
