TWIN PEAKS SEASON 2 EPISODE 1 The feature-length season-2 opener is the penultimate episode of the original series’ run directed by David Lynch himself and, appropriately, introduces the mysterious giant (Carel Struycken) who calls on the (not dead) Agent Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) from time to time. Cooper survived last season’s cliffhanger, but so did Leo (Eric Da Re). – Lee Gardner
